On the International Day of People Living with a Disability, the Congolese Association "Stand Proud" organised a march around the centre of Kinshasa.
Student fashion show in Goma
Students from the University of Goma helped out by an association of disabled youth in Goma organised this fashion and dance show.
Fashion in Goma is not quite as loud as in Kinshasa in the west and Brazzaville in neighbouring Republic of Congo. Those cities are home to la SAPE - la Société des Ambianceurs et des Personnes Élégantes (French for "Society of Ambiance-Makers and Elegant People").
